We live in a wonderful, new neighborhood filled to the brim with young children. Our home is a traditional, two-story country style house with four bedrooms, and has an open floor layout that we love. It’s perfect for family gatherings and game nights—family & friends often volunteer us for parties! Jeff designed and built the large deck in our backyard with the help of his dad and brother-in-law, and we spend many summer days back there watching the sunset and catching fireflies.
We live a few blocks from a very large park that opened a splash pad last summer – kids absolutely LOVE it! A new playground is right next to it so Sean loves to get wet and then slip fast down the slide. The park also has numerous hiking trails through woods and nature preserves where we like to go on little scavenger hunts looking for different objects in nature. Our home is also walking distance from the historic downtown area and train station which makes day trips very easy and fun. Last Fall we took the train to another suburb to eat at the Choo Choo restaurant where a model train delivered our food!
