Hello! Welcome to our family. We're a Chicago area couple hoping to grow our family through open adoption. Whether you are considering adoption for your unborn child -- or you know someone who is -- we understand this is a hard, tough decision. We can only imagine what you are going through right now. You are brave and courageous, even if you don't feel it right now. We are honored you are taking the time to get to know us and consider us as adoptive parents. We hope and pray you find peace in this process no matter what you decide.
What led us to adoption? We both grew up in loving homes with siblings and dreamed of sharing our lives with children. God blessed us with our son, Sean, in 2008 after many years of struggling with infertility. He has brought so much joy and laughter into our home and we long for more children. But we’ve been unable to get pregnant again. Recently we were discussing with Sean that God hasn’t blessed us with a baby brother or sister for him yet and he said, “It’s ok. Don’t worry. He’s working on it.” We realized that God was trying to tell us (more like nudging us really hard!) that it was time build our family through adoption. Dealing with infertility has brought us closer together and strengthened our faith that God has a perfect plan for each of us. Here is where our paths cross, and we pray our family is the answer you are seeking.
